Save Some Money, Buy the Refill

I'm always trying to find the best deal on things we use on a daily basis. My most recent discovery, buying Dial handsoap refill and using as bodywash. The Dial White Tea handsoap refill is the exact same thing in the bodywash section and it's around the same price of $3-$4. You can get about two bottles of bodywash out of the large refill, plus it creates less trash.

gotta love finding things that you can save on!!!! :) I bought the Purex 3-in-1 refills for $5.94 at Walmart (+ 2.00 coupon from previous week's paper) and cut them in half = $3.94 for 48 loads of laundry = $.08 per load of laundry for detergent, softener, and dryer sheet. :)

$1.00 off coupon here - http://bricks.coupons.com/Start.asp?tqnm=qg2icxs59136729&bt=xs&o=56539&c=PX&p=6xDl5JFy = $4.94 = under $.10 per load. I've done 40+ loads with them cut in half and they seem to get the clothes clean! :)

look at you saving the planet! Target's Method refills are very low priced and work in any soap dispenser. Monica just refilled her foam bath&body soaps with Method. They work great!

Kristin, have you tried making your own laundry soap? I'm thinking of giving it a whirl when I get low.

I haven't Lindsay. I've had issues finding the ingredients, but supposedly IGA has washing soda and the napstheta (how ever you spell it) soap -- so I may try.... ;) The only complaint that I've heard is that it isn't so great with the stain fighting.... :P
